แผงเซลล์แสงอาทิตย์ชนิด N-Type นั้น ซิลิคอนเวเฟอร์จะถูกเคลือบด้วยฟอสฟอรัสแทนที่จะเป็นโบรอนที่ใช้ในแผงแบบ P-Type ฟอสฟอรัสมีอิเล็กตรอนพิเศษหนึ่งตัว ทำให้เกิดประจุลบ และทำให้อิเล็กตรอนกลายเป็นตัวนำพาประจุ (Charge Carriers) โดยทั่วไปแล้ว แผง N-Type จะมีประสิทธิภาพสูงขึ้น, การเสื่อมสภาพลดลง, อายุการใช้งานยาวนานขึ้น, ประสิทธิภาพดีขึ้นในอุณหภูมิสูง, ประสิทธิภาพดีขึ้นในสภาพแสงน้อย

N-Type vs P-Type Technology
With N-Type panels, the silicon wafer is doped with phosphorus instead of boron (P-Type). Phosphorus has an extra electron, creating a negative charge and making electrons the charge carriers. N-Type panels typically have higher efficiency, reduced degradation, longer lifespan, better high-temperature performance, and improved low-light performance.
TOPCon: is a specific architecture that is built upon the benefits of N-Type. TOPCon uses a unique passivation layer on the back side of the wafer to dramatically reduce electrical losses and boost efficiency. TOPCon technology typically provides ultra-high efficiency, immunity to light-induced degradation, low temperature coefficient, and excellent bifacial performance.
Our latest SALO® Solar Panels employ both N-Type and TOPCon technology, in combination with the fully automated production system “SALO AUTOMATION®” and Finnish high-quality standards, result in solar panels with unique features:
• Maximum efficiency: 23.2%
• Power output tolerance: 0~+5W
• Superior temperature coefficient: see figures in below specification sheet
• Annual degradation: no more than 0.40% per year in the first 30 years
Our panels are made at Salo Tech Thailand factory in Rayong. Salo Tech Thailand is a Thai-Finnish joint venture. The panels are manufactured by made-in-Finland fully automated production line, under Finnish strict quality control. Nonetheless, the factory uses local contents and employ local Thai workers. Therefore, buying our panels means supporting Thailand’s local economy.

Our Bifacial panels are now being produced in Thailand!
แผงแบบรับแสงสองหน้าของ SALO® กำลังถูกผลิตอยู่ที่โรงงานซาโลเทค (ไทยแลนด์) จังหวัดระยอง แผงจะเป็นขนาด 600W และใช้เทคโนโลยี N-Type กับ TopCon แต่จะมีด้านหลังแบบใสทำให้รับแสงได้ทั้งสองฝั่ง ซึ่งเพิ่มกำลังการผลิตไฟฟ้าและประสิทธิภาพให้แผงได้มาก สเปคอย่างเป็นทางการโรงงานจะทำออกมาเร็วๆนี้ แต่ท่านสามารถพรีออเดอร์แผงได้แล้ว
SALO® bifacial panels are now being produced at Salo Tech (Thailand) factory in Rayong. The bifacial panels will be 600W N-Type/TopCon but with transparent back sheets. The panels can receive sunlight from both sides. This will significantly increase power output and efficiency of solar panels. Technical data sheets will soon be available, but you can pre-order them now.

On March 28, 2024, Finnolar (Thailand) Co., Ltd., as an official distributor, was honored to attend the grand opening ceremony of Salo Tech (Thailand) Co., Ltd.’s solar panel manufacturing facility in Rayong Province. The official launch follows the successful installation of advanced machinery from Finland and a rigorous pilot production phase, ensuring that every panel meets the highest international quality standards. Salo Tech (Thailand) Co., Ltd. is a significant joint venture between three key organizations: Solar Finland: The proprietor of the core manufacturing technology, Finnish Fund for Industrial Cooperation (FINNFUND): The development finance institution of the Finnish government, PEA ENCOM International: A subsidiary of the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) of Thailand. This project marks a historic milestone as the first-ever joint investment between Thai and Finnish state enterprises. The ceremony was attended by numerous distinguished guests who gathered to celebrate the factory's opening and the long-standing diplomatic and economic relations between the two nations. Finnolar (Thailand) Co., Ltd. extends its warmest congratulations and best wishes for the continued success and prosperity of Salo Tech (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
